Virginia Valor FC offers financial assistance to ensure all players can join regardless of economic status. This program offsets club dues for qualified families annually and is supported by Stack Infrastructure, one of the club's primary sponsors. While it covers club dues, families are responsible for uniform fees and any extra team fees.. Families are encouraged to review the information below and submit the application in a timely manner.

How to Apply During the 2026-2027 seasons:

​

Applicants will register for financial aid during the player registration process by completing the required online application questions and uploading necessary documentation: 

​

  • Copy of the most recent federal tax return on Form 1040 for both parents of the applicant - all supporting schedules and attachments are required.

  • Two most recent pay stubs

  • Verification of all government assistance player is receiving: Free and reduced lunch eligibility letter, Medicaid eligibility letter, SNAP benefit eligibility letter, etc

Incomplete applications may result in disqualification. All Virginia Valor FC registration fees must be paid in full on a timely basis for the player to be eligible to participate in Valor team activities.

Financial Aid Policy 

​

  • Please choose the Financial Aid Payment Plan option and pay the deposit. 

  • Applications must be received no later than June 15, 2026, to be considered.  Players receiving offers after the deadline will have 14 days from the date of their offer to apply for aid.

  • All applications received by the Jun 15 deadline will be reviewed together. You will receive a communication stating whether you are being offered an award or not and your invoice will be adjusted accordingly.

  • Applications received by the Jun 15, 2026, deadline (48 hours after completion of the acceptance registration if joining after June 15) will be considered for an award for the full season year. New players joining Valor for the spring season only can be considered for a spring aid award if they apply. All applicants must reapply each fall season to be considered. Note that there will be no retroactive financial aid awarded for previous seasons registered/played.

 

Application deadlines:

  • Fall application deadline – June 15  **If player is offered a spot after Jun 15, financial aid applications are due 48 hours after completion of the acceptance registration.**
